" In 2008, I met the brothers Thiago and Felipe (Campos) online playing DT, and I was ecstatic to find out they were from the same city as me! I got in touch, and we quickly arranged some songs to rehearse together! The project was born afterward and has become something I've always had a huge passion for, seeing so much pleasure and dedication being well received by people all over the world."

"I was always a fan of Thiago Campos' work on the DT community. So when the time came to sing for VRA I was very excited. 'Fatal Tragedy' was the first one with them. It was a lot of fun seeing the results and the quality of everything Thiago does. After that, I travelled to Brazil and we did many things together musically and became very good friends. 'The Gift of Music' was a lovely project to be in, not only I got to sing, but start the song playing my acoustic guitar and organize the choir parts for everybody to sing. But the best thing was playing live with them – awesome shows playing all the DT classics!"

"I discovered the project when I was super young and I was among some of the very first “YouTubers” doing Drum Covers. Of course the extremely famous Split-Screen Cover of 'Metropolis Part 1' made me discover VRA!, and I can guarantee that every musician wanted to be part of it for sure! What do I think about the project? It started a NEW ERA."

"I remember watching VRA's cover of 'Metropolis Pt 1' with the amazing Will Shaw on vocals, back in 2010, and I thought the whole thing was so cool. People from all around the world collaborate together, sharing their talent and passion into creating awesome covers, celebrating the incredible music of Dream Theater. I really wanted to be a part of that, so I sent a message to Thiago and I was then fortunate enough to record the vocals for VRA's cover of 'As I Am' from the Train of Thought album . Forever grateful for the opportunity, it was a blast working with Thiago and his colleagues!"

"Being a huge Dream Theater fan, I came across the VRA Split-Screen Covers since day one (back in 2009), when I saw the first covers of "Lifting Shadows Off A Dream" and "Metropolis Pt. 1". That was my motivation to create a YouTube channel and make collaborations with musicians from all over the world. In early 2024, I saw a post in social media that Thiago Campos was looking for new guests for the next VRA Split-Screen Covers. So I sent him my vocal cover of "Answering The Call" and then instantly "I got the job". I'm thrilled and very happy with that, cause I feel that being guest in this amazing project, completes a circle of 15 years since I started all this and for me it's... A perfect sphere... Colliding with our fate... This story ends where it began!!!

"I’ve noticed Thiago Campos and his DT tribute band a very long time ago, with the Metropolis cover…and his skills literally blew my mind, impressing me even more across the years… Also, the other musicians were amazing.. a kind of “Dream Team”. I’ve always wanted to collaborate with Thiago and have the honor to play with his tribute band and share my keyboard sounds and skills."

"I came across both VRA! and Thiago around 2009/2010. During those years I was a school student, most of my evenings were dedicated to playing my instrument and listening/searching for new music/musicians. I was already into DT's music and their (VRA!) videos were quite common to be found for people like me that was daily onto DT fanzines, social media and YT. I loved the accuracy the guys put into both playing their parts and producing the videos, always made me want to be part of it. Today I can say that I reached that personal goal!"

" It is a great pleasure to work with so many talented musicians and help give them the exposure they deserve! I started the Split-Screen Covers with friends, out of the pure joy of playing our favorite music together (in a time when it was nearly impossible to find all musicians locally). I'm proud to see our project transform into a worldwide collaboration camp, loved by so many in the DT community. Our passion for Dream Theater's music ultimately united us for an amazing new era of Internet collaborations. May we continue to celebrate great music, have fun jamming with likeminded people, and inspire future generations. Let's keep the dream alive!"
